Introduction Tasks

Login to Koha and have a look at the circulation menu, what types of things can you do from this menu?

Go to the Members section. What actions can you do in this section?

Task 1. Add yourself as a borrower

The first thing we're going to do is add ourselves as a new borrower, can you work out how to do that?
Try searching the catalogue. Can you find resources?

Task 3. Add a resource

Use Cataloguing and select either of the add new options - New record will allow you to select the resource type, which saves you editing the record later.

Enter the ISBN for your resource and click on Search

Your resource should be displayed.

From the Actions button, select the download button. This will import the details directly into KOHA.

Once the details are in KOHA, go down to P so that you can add the barcode (next number is generated) and click on Add Item.

Task 4. Issue the new resource out to yourself (or the person that you added at task 1)
