Basic Search Features
Basic search features include finding resources based on using:- author
- combined search
- keyword
- phrase
- quick search
- subject
- title

Class Activity 1
Use the catalogue of at least 2 libraries to locate the following:
- 5 books on Sourdough baking for beginners
- "Artisan Sourdough Made Simple" A Beginner's Guide & Beyond
- 5 books on doomsday prepping
- Any books in the Inspector Challis series by Garry Disher
- 5 Fiction/novels on or about Cats
- 5 books on caring for or raising Backyard chickens
Provide the location (branch), Call Number/, whether it is available
Were there any topics that you could not find any resources on? What else could you do to locate appropriate resources?
What differences were there between the catalogues you selected? Was one easier to use than the other? What makes a catalogue easy to use?
